Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop
For many years in our industry, portions of our work involving sheet metal
fabrication were typically subcontracted out by mechanical contractors.
Indeed, many mechanical contractors continue this practice or use "sister"
contractors for their sheet metal fabrication and installation needs. Not
so with Mock Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc.
As ceiling spaces or mechanical equipment rooms get smaller, the necessity
of job-site coordination becomes greater. And, because the interaction
between piping and ductwork can dictate the progress of the mechanical
system installation (and, thus, the entire project), Mock recognizes the
importance of using our "in-house" sheet metal fabrication facility and
installers to fully integrate the sheet metal work with other portions of
mechanical work.
The ability to schedule, monitor, and quality check each piece of sheet
metal product shipped to the project is an added benefit to our customers.
Production Capabilities
Mock Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc., can produce your most intricate sheet
metal needs. We regularly stock galvanized sheet metal from 26 gauge to 16
gauge, black iron sheet metal in various gauges, and stainless steel sheet
metal in various gauges, finishes, and degrees of hardness.
We specialize in the mass quantity production of galvanized sheet metal
ductwork built to the latest SMACNA and ASHRAE standards.
We have the production equipment to cut, bend, roll, and form metal to 16
gauge.
Mock utilizes an automated insulation/welding system to produce internally
insulated ductwork and fittings. We stock duct liner in thicknesses of 1"
and 1/2" of varying densities. Our equipment can install liner up to 2"
thick.
Our latest addition is a vicon plasma-cutting table, which has greatly
increased our production.
We are continually updating our facilities with the latest state of the
art equipment.
